As a member of our small but expanding Shanghai team, you will actively contribute to the company’s success and play an instrumental role in building an after-sales network for the brand-new range of electronic storage security solutions currently being introduced to market.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in sales and customer relationship management, ideally in an industry with after-sales service requirement
- bachelor or proven degree in commercial understanding or business administration with technical background
- capable of working independently and take the initiative to achieve success
- ability to sell high-value locking solutions (mechanical and electronic) to the furniture and related industries
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach to achieving results, serving the customer and solving problems
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and capable of adapting to different mentalities and workstyles
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (Cantonese is a bonus)
- reliable, honest and industrious
- well-versed in MS Office applications
The position involves extensive travelling within China (particularly South China and Hong Kong SAR), plus periodic business trips to Singapore and Malaysia. Participation in exhibitions throughout China and the Asia Pacific region may be required, as well as occasional trips to head office and exhibitions in Germany.
Approximately 80% of time should be spent with customers and market partners focused on generating business growth and servicing existing accounts.
In addition, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the development of a network of after-sales service partners for our new range of electronic storage security products which will shortly be launched in the market. This involves: identify, select, develop and then manage relationships with service partners in major metropolitan areas throughout the region.
As a member of a small but growing regional team, the successful candidate will be required to handle all tasks which may be necessary to achieve goals; on the other hand, the resources of the parent company are available for support whenever required. Training and career development opportunities will be provided.
The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager of the Company and the International Sales Director of the parent company. Team members are expected to work independently and with initiative within the framework of company guidelines. Work atmosphere is co-operative and friendly.
