Shooting Bar Locks

Versatile Storage Security for Furniture

Turn the key of a shooting bar lock and two bars are pushed in opposite directions to lock; turn the key in the other direction to unlock and the two bars are pulled back towards the lock. This simple but effective functional principle is used to securely lock tall furniture doors; by installing the lock mechanism horizontally, you can also safely lock wide drawers.

For central locking of a bank of drawers, just add an SVS Interlock bar to the side panels – the horizontally mounted shooting bar lock then locks all the drawers at the same time and prevents furniture tipovers by allowing only one drawer to be opened at a time when unlocked!

Within the Lehmann range, you will find various shooting bar locks, each with special problem-solving features:

  • The Type 204 lock features a narrow lock case with a width of only 19mm, making it the ideal solution for frame doors. It also has an integrated center bolt, so provides a 3-point locking solution for extra security.
  • The Type 292 lock features a very slim lock case which takes up only 7.5mm space on the back of the door. This makes it a great choice for locking of bi-fold door cabinets or any other application with tight space constraints.
  • The Type 292.03 lock is perfect for locking sideboards and credenzas, as it features an integrated bolt which locks upwards, so only one bar is required to lock into the base panel to achieve 2-point locking.
