New Work SE – the parent company of XING and kununu – not only embodies the new world of work in its name, but also lives by it consistently. By moving into the newly refurbished Überseehaus on Hamburg’s Baumwall, the company has chosen a location that meets this standard in every respect: a modern, sustainability-certified office building with spectacular views of the Elbe, the harbour and the Elbphilharmonie – and a working environment that prioritises open-plan areas, flexibility and individual working models. An infrastructure of this calibre demands no compromises, even when it comes to the locker solution.
Spanning four floors, New Work SE required a reliable, centrally manageable locker solution for more than 700 workstations – seamlessly integrated into a modern office environment that sets the highest standards in terms of design and functionality. At the same time, the system was to be built on the company’s tried-and-tested transponder infrastructure and be scalable in the long term.
At the Überseehaus, over 700 CAPTOS MIFARE locks were installed across four floors and connected via controllers to form a networked system. Each employee is assigned a dedicated locker – reliable, secure and with comprehensive operation logging. Commissioning was carried out in three phases by LEHMANN Support and was carefully coordinated with the ongoing operations of the headquarters.
All locks, controllers and customer transponders are managed centrally via the Lehmann Management Software (LMS). The system integrates seamlessly into New Work SE’s existing IT infrastructure – thereby building on a previous project that was successfully implemented at the old site.
New Work SE now has a fully digitalised locking infrastructure that lives up to the standards expected of one of the best-known pioneers of modern workplace culture. Secure, centrally manageable and scalable – built on a foundation that grows with the company.
