The battery-free furniture lock for efficient and sustainable working environments

VERTO zero NFC operates entirely without a battery. The energy required for the locking process is supplied via the smartphone’s NFC interface during operation, making it a sustainable and resource-efficient solution.

The result: lower running costs, reduced maintenance requirements and a locking solution that conserves resources.

Operation is intuitive via NFC using a smartphone. As there is no need to enter PIN codes, forgotten codes are a thing of the past. At the same time, users benefit from quick and convenient operation.

Whether for fixed locker allocation or flexible locker selection – the VERTO zero NFC adapts to a variety of usage scenarios. This makes the locking system ideal for modern offices, hot-desking set-ups, gyms, educational institutions and many other applications.

Your benefits at a glance

With the VERTO zero NFC, you get a state-of-the-art, low-maintenance locking solution that reduces running costs, simplifies processes and meets the requirements of future working environments.

Lower operating costs. Reduced workload. Greater efficiency.

The Verto zero NFC’s completely battery-free operation significantly reduces the running costs of electronic locking systems. As well as the cost of batteries, it also eliminates the need for their procurement, storage, replacement and proper disposal.

At the same time, the workload on staff is significantly reduced. Regular maintenance visits or preventative battery changes are a thing of the past. This allows facility management and service staff to concentrate on value-adding tasks, whilst the effort required for routine maintenance is significantly reduced.

VERTO zero NFC also impresses with its efficiency in day-to-day operation. As authentication is conveniently carried out via a smartphone, there is no longer any risk of forgotten PIN codes or the associated administrative burden. Its simple and quick operation ensures high user acceptance and contributes to efficient, smooth operational processes. The combination of lower operating costs, reduced maintenance requirements and a long service life makes the VERTO zero NFC a cost-effective investment in the future.

Flexibility without compromise

Whether you opt for fixed cabinet allocation or free choice of cabinet – the usage concept can be flexibly adapted to your company’s requirements. Changes can be made at any time, enabling you to respond quickly to new organisational structures or workplace concepts.

Free locker selection is particularly well suited to modern workplace concepts such as shared desks and co-working spaces, as well as to gyms, educational institutions and conference areas. Users simply select an available locker as and when required; after use, it is automatically released for the next user. This allows optimal utilisation of existing locker capacity and reduces the number of lockers required.

In ‘fixed locker allocation’ mode, each user is assigned their own personal, permanent locker in the traditional manner. This is particularly suitable for environments with a fixed group of users where permanent locker allocation makes sense, such as in offices, workshops or changing rooms.

As a result, with the VERTO zero NFC you get a future-proof locking solution that can be flexibly adapted to your organisational structures and reduces both administrative effort and investment costs through more efficient use of existing resources.

Initial Setup / Ersteinrichtung VERTO zero NFC

Two apps – a clear division of tasks

To lock the door, the lock is first locked manually using the rotary knob and then locked electronically via the transponder app. Once authentication via smartphone has been successfully completed, the door is unlocked by manually turning the rotary knob. This combination of electronic identification and mechanical operation ensures intuitive use and a high level of operational reliability. An integrated mechanical service cylinder ensures that authorised persons can gain controlled access to the locker at any time should the need arise.

Whilst end users can conveniently open and close the lock via the transponder app, facility management retains full control over the locking system using the Config app. The Config app enables quick commissioning of the lock, the simple assignment of lockers and users, and the execution of authorised emergency openings.

Note: The Transponder App for using the lock is available free of charge for Android and iOS and can be downloaded from the respective app stores. Configuration via the Lehmann Config App is currently only possible using the Android version of the app. The corresponding function for iOS will be made available shortly.
